Psychoeducation, Determinism, and Attitudes Toward Harm Reduction Interventions in the Treatment of Problematic Substance Use
There is limited research on the general publics’ beliefs about Harm Reduction Intervention (HRIs) in the treatment of Problematic Substance Use (PSU). While there are likely many barriers to the acceptance of HRIs in the United States, this study will explore two. The first is a lack of education about HRIs, and the second is moral rigidity. This study will help two establish current acceptance rates of HRIs in the general public as well as explore two methods of shifting believes about HRIs
